Here is a tract home Mcmansion plunger that is about 100K less than brand new 7 years ago. This is a big one sporting over 4500 sq ft.

ON MLS: D1407335 asking $535K
Purchased brand new 9/2003 for $622K

http://www.bcpa.net/RecInfo.asp?URL_Folio=513936023920

After commission this will be over $100K loss.

2500 sq ft Max.

Here is a tract home MCMansion plunger that is not worth anywhere near what was paid for it. This baby sports a rather impressive foot print of over 4300 sq ft (4800 according to the listing). Anyway it is quite impressive.

MLS: M1401665 asking $650K
Purchased: 2/2006 for $890K

http://www.bcpa.net/RecInfo.asp?URL_Folio=513936024990

$650K really, good luck with that one. Property appraiser says $405K and zillow says $460K.

I suspect this one will make a serious run at the $.5 million loss club.

2500 sq ft Max.

More of the same. This tract home McMansion is just listed (18 hours ago) and is a whopper of price pounding. This baby sports a rather modest 3778 sq ft.

MLS: F1074449 asking $420K
Purchased: 6/2007 for $928K

http://www.bcpa.net/RecInfo.asp?URL_Folio=514031031410

$508K (55%) loss. Oh my my!

2500 sq ft Max.

More of the same. I am seeing a pickup in this type of thing even before we get the the major resets that will soon start. This tract home McMansion market is being decimated.

MLS: F1084195 asking $315K as of 3 days ago.
Purchased: 4/2007 for $752K

http://www.bcpa.net/RecInfo.asp?URL_Folio=513925051540

Over $400K loss.

2500 sq ft Max.
